Join us on September 25 for an intermediate women only MTB clinic on Mount Tzouhalem.
Keeping things personal with a 1 to 4 instructor ratio.
Next Level Riding is offering a full day Intermediate Mountain Bike Skills Clinic for women only*
We are keeping numbers low and maxing out with only 4 spots per lesson allowing people to maximize their learning and keeps things more personal.
Location: Mount Tzouhalem, Nevliane Drive (subject to change)
Times: 9.30am – 3pm
Format: 1:4 instructor to student ratio.
We will be meeting at the Nevilane Parking lot for introductions, Bike checks and warm up.
Your industry certified Instructor (Alan) will deliver skills based instruction with a focus on mileage with skills progressions built into the ride. You will get chance to practice a number of skills throughout the rides based on your own personal goals. With such small groups you will receive focused attention and feedback on various skills, from climbing, descending, drops, jumps, corners, clearing obstacles, braking and pretty much every aspect of mountain biking. The content will be delivered based on individual requirements.
This clinic is for the Intermediate rider.
Riders must be comfortable on a bike, and have a good level of fitness. (See ability levels)
There will be plenty of stops and time for snack breaks. This is no army boot-camp-suffer-fest! It’s all about having fun whilst learning and riding your bike.
You can ride whatever bike you like, so long as it’s a mountain bike.
All we ask is that it’s safe and well serviced. Hydraulic Disc Brakes are a nice bonus to keep you safe.
What you need to bring?
A back pack is helpful to carry the following items:
- at least 2 litres of water – (we may be able to top up at the Kaspa Road Parking lot half way through)
- Snacks for the ride and small lunch
- Spare inner tube
- Multi tool.
When you book you will receive an automated email with links to a waiver and a medical form – please fill those out as soon as possible so I can confirm your booking.
The course need to be full in order to run. You will receive notification that it is confirmed 48 hours prior to the course start dates. No refunds can be given once the course is full, unless a replacement can be found.
*Why is this termed women only and who is welcome?
I have created a ‘ladies only’ clinic to create a space for those who feel more comfortable and empowered in an inclusive gender appropriate environment. Womxn (trans, cis, and otherwise) and all non-binary people (of all/no genders) are welcome. Self-definition is at the sole discretion of users. We do not police gender in our workshops. If you are here it is because you feel that you are included, and therefore are welcome.
